Access Control / Alarms
Surveillance is only one aspect of a good security system. With your high-tech "eyes", it streamlines your security surveillance to have alarms and motion detectors to take a closer look at suspect areas and take action as necessary. Also, access control provides a means of securing your facility in a much more efficient manner that provided by simple locks and keys.
Access Control
Access control is simply that: allowing or preventing access into your facility. There are several means of access control, the most secure being keypad entry and data chip entry. Keypad entry requires you to set either a universal password for you and all employees, or individual passwords for each.
Data chip entry allows you to allow entry via a card, altering access privileges via computer at your convenience. This allows you to track time and attendance, provide for scheduled access (so that no employee can gain access to your facility after hours) and also gives the option of selective access, so that only certain persons can gain access to more sensitive areas.
Alarms
Alarms are an important part of security, but Tri-State goes far beyond the simple burglar alarm. Our wide range of alarms include proximity and interior motion alarms from Ademco and DSC.
Motion detector alarms can be interfaced with closed circuit television surveillance cameras, allowing for automated video inspection of suspect areas. In addition, perimeter and interior motion alarms function as a necessary notification of authorities of a possible breach of security.
Other alarm systems are available, including fire alarms. Please call Tri-State for more information on our access control and alarm systems.
